Welcome to the Brainisphere community! We want this to be a safe place to discuss topics that are often personal and sensitive, so it’s important that everyone sue this site understands what we expect from each other.

 

We’ve outlined here and in our Terms of Service specific rules for content that is prohibited on this site. But it’s hard to anticipate every situation that might come up. The key is the spirit of these rules: we want this site to be a safe and positive experience for everyone. We reserve the right to decide, in our sole discretion, what content violates that spirit and will not be permitted on the platform.

We want everyone to be part of our community and have their voice heard. We encourage your feedback and aim to respond to your comments as soon as possible. While we do moderate this community, we welcome open discussion.

To help everyone enjoy our community, we ask that when you post, you keep in mind the following:

• We don’t allow defamatory, indecent, offensive, profane, discriminatory, misleading, unlawful or threatening comments.
• Hate speech or content that demeans, defames, or promotes discrimination or violence on the basis of race, color, caste, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status, immigration status, socio-economic status, age, weight or pregnancy status is prohibited.
• Personal attacks, name-calling, trolling and abuse will not be tolerated.
• Spamming, posting promotional material or posting links to third party websites is not permitted.
• We reserve the right to delete comments at our discretion and block any repeat offenders. We will remove content that is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading.
• Coordinated group attacks will not be tolerated.
• We prohibit bullying or harassment of any kind. If someone blocks you, you may not contact them from another account.
• Sharing another person’s private information without their knowledge and consent is not allowed.
• If someone is depicted in your posts and asks you to remove it, please do! Respect the privacy rights of others.
• Encouraging violence or dangerous behavior is prohibited — never intimidate or threaten to harm a person, a group of people, or someone’s property.
• We don’t allow the glorification of self-harm, including the promotion of self-injury, suicide or eating disorders
• Respect that other people in the community have had different life experiences and may have a different perspective to yours. We welcome different viewpoints.
• Our community is a public place. Don’t post personal information that you would not be comfortable sharing with a stranger. We recommend that you don’t post any information that may identify you or anyone else, such as your address, email address or phone number.
