Always be wary of scams on social media, and be especially cautious of connection requests from complete strangers.
Beware of misinformation, disinformation, and fake news spread on social media.
Get familiar with the privacy and security settings of all your social media accounts and use them properly.
If possible, set all your personal social media accounts to private.
